Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployment Engineer to embed within a customer's development program as a software developer, systems engineer, and deployment lead, shipping production code and guiding complex deployments.

You will analyze protocol stacks, write and modify software, develop Python APIs, and build automation within customer workflows while coordinating with Keysight and customer teams onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• 6–7 years of software/systems engineering experience.
• Strong software development across multiple stacks and protocol layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead major deployment engagements across Keysight and customer teams.
• Own deployment issues from report to validated fix; be the technical resource.
• Work onsite with customer development teams during feature introductions.
• Analyze signaling, traces, timing, and performance to isolate failures.
• Write/modify application and protocol-stack software and APIs.
• Develop and extend Python APIs that customer teams integrate against.
• Build automation workflows inside the customer's workflows.
• Create diagnostic instrumentation when existing tools are insufficient.
• Develop, validate, and deploy patches and interim releases per process.
• Lead rapid prototyping loops with customers for live feedback.
• Translate field problems into engineering requirements for product teams.
