Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployment Engineer to embed within a customer's development program, acting as software developer, systems engineer, and deployment lead.

You will ship production code, diagnose complex issues, and deliver controlled releases throughout early development cycles. You will work onsite with customer teams, analyze protocol behavior, write software, and extend Python APIs while collaborating with product management and R&D to translate field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• 6-7 years of relevant software/systems engineering experience.
• Experience with C/C++, Python, Linux, embedded/real-time software, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead major or large-scale deployment engagements across teams.
• Own deployment issues from first report to validated fix.
• Work onsite or with customer development teams during feature introductions.
• Analyze signaling flows, traces, timing, and performance data to isolate failures.
• Write/modify application and protocol-stack software and tooling.
• Develop and extend Python APIs for customer integration.
• Build automation workflows inside the customer's workflows.
• Create diagnostic instrumentation when existing tools are insufficient.
• Develop, validate, and deploy controlled patches and interim releases.
• Run rapid prototyping loops with customers to test new features.
