Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a backend engineer to work directly with customers, understand their engineering challenges, and shape impactful software solutions. You will build rapid prototypes, gather user feedback, and iterate toward production-ready applications.

You will develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI, collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers on physics models, and deploy with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and AWS, while

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-ready delivery.
• Proficiency with Python and backend development.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration systems.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate needs into software.
• Experience deploying on AWS and infrastructure as code tools.
