Job summary

Tines is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic enterprise customers and drive AI adoption. You will lead technical implementations, integrations, and user enablement to realize measurable business value, working remotely from MST or PST and traveling 20–40%.

You will serve as the primary technical contact, own customer success end-to-end, and translate field insights back to product and engineering teams. Strong Python and deployment experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical, customer-facing role or related leadership track record.
• Production experience with LLMs and AI systems, prompt engineering, and large-scale deployments.
• Strong engineering skills to own integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and understand customer infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and technical implementation of the Tines platform within complex enterprise environments, integrating with existing systems and configuring customer-specific workflows.
• Drive adoption across the organization through training, enablement, and stakeholder engagement from hands-on technical teams to executives.
• Identify and develop new use cases by understanding customers’ businesses and surfacing opportunities to expand platform value and adoption.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor: troubleshoot production issues, deliver workshops, answer technical questions, and resolve blockers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships focused on long-term retention and growth.
• Feed field insights back to internal teams (Engineering, Product, GTM) to codify friction points and high-value use cases.
• Travel 20–40% to customer sites to build trust and accelerate adoption.

Senior Forward Deployed Engineer embedded with strategic enterprise customers to lead technical implementations of the Tines platform and drive transformational AI adoption. Act as the primary technical point of contact, own customer success end-to-end, and translate field insights back to product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions/Pre-sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Integration/Implementation Engineer, or Software Engineer with customer exposure).
• Proven track record of driving adoption and delivering measurable value from complex technical products in enterprise environments.
• Strong engineering skills to own integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and understand customer infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills; TypeScript, Java, or similar is a plus.
• Production experience with LLMs and AI systems, including prompt engineering, agent workflows, and deployment at scale.
• Ability to train, enable, and influence stakeholders across all levels.
• High agency, resourcefulness, and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20–40%.

Compensation & Work Authorization

• Target Annual Compensation: $230,000 - $280,000 OTE.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; the company cannot sponsor or transfer employment visas at this time.

• Remote role that must be based in MST or PST time zones.
