Job summary

Getclera is seeking a systems engineer to own the core agent infrastructure powering AI systems — the orchestration layer, tool integrations, retrieval, and evals that run our operations.

This is a hands-on, in-person role at our San Francisco headquarters, focused on creating reliable agent systems and improving them with monitoring and real-world data. Recent graduates and self-taught builders are welcome; no professional experience is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and build scalable agent systems.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, tool integrations, or RAG.
• Strong problem-solving and system-thinking skills.
• Recent graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the orchestration layer for multi-step agentic workflows across operations.
• Integrate external tools and APIs into agent systems with reliable error handling.
• Build retrieval and evaluation infrastructure to measure agent reliability.
• Automate recurring manual work and ship systems to eliminate them.
• Monitor production performance and iterate on design.
