Job summary

Unit8 is expanding its US footprint with a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, working directly with customers to own delivery strategy and implementation. You will design and build data solutions, leveraging Python, PySpark, and Palantir Foundry in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.

The role requires 5+ years in software/data engineering or data science, strong client-facing and pre-sales experience, and willingness to travel at least 10% to client sites across the USA, including Miami.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software/data engineering or data science.
• Deep domain expertise in at least one key domain (Data Engineering, Data Science, Cloud Engineering, GenAI).
• Commercial fluency in pre-sales, proposal design, or technical advisory.
• GenAI/LLM experience in relevant tracks (Evaluation, Training, Decomposition).
• Willingness to travel (min. 10%) to client sites to drive implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data solutions and infrastructure.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot complex data pipelines with open-source and Foundry.
• Drive data quality through optimization, testing, and tooling.
• Collaborate with software engineers, ML experts, and stakeholders in agile teams.
• Deliver on new product objectives in multi-functional teams.
