micro1 is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the development and deployment of applied AI systems for U.S. Government partners.

The role spans model experimentation, infrastructure, and production deployment in high-assurance environments with forward-deployed work in the Greater Washington DC area. Qualificações

• Extensive software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Advanced Python skills with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong experience deploying LLM applications and agentic AI systems.
• Experience designing and scaling data pipelines and ML infrastructure.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and deployment of agentic AI systems for high-impact missions.
• Architect and integrate LLM apps, multi-agent systems, RAG workflows, human-in-the-loop autonomy.
• Partner with government stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable systems.
• Develop data curation and evaluation pipelines for model training and improvement.
• Scale infrastructure for model inference, experimentation, evaluation, and deployment.
• Own full lifecycle: architecture, implementation, deployment, reliability and security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
