Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Network Architect to design and evolve our enterprise and site network across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. You will own Fortinet Security Fabric implementations and ensure secure, scalable integration with Cisco OT networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity controls.

The role is hands-on and architecture-focused, requiring collaboration with Hybrid Cloud, cybersecurity, and site teams to deliver repeatable, automated network platforms with strong governance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure operations with architecture responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet Security Fabric and Cisco integration in mixed IT/OT environments
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VRFs, IPsec and SSL VPN, QoS, and high availability

Responsibilities

• Design target-state architecture for enterprise, cloud, WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, and site connectivity
• Own architecture standards and lifecycle for Fortinet Security Fabric
• Define secure integration patterns between Fortinet IT networks and Cisco OT environments
• Produce reference architectures, topology diagrams, and implementation guidance
• Develop automated delivery capabilities and CI/CD pipelines for network provisioning
• Lead hands-on deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Fortinet and Cisco infrastructure
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with vendors and partners
