Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead the enterprise network strategy across corporate IT, cloud, and operating sites. The role oversees Fortinet Security Fabric integration with Cisco-based OT networks, guiding governance, standards, and lifecycle planning.

You will drive automation, CI/CD adoption, and secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures while partnering with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of progressive network engineering and architecture experience across enterprise environments.
• Deep Fortinet Security Fabric expertise with FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiNAC, and Fortinet Secure SD-WAN.
• Expert Cisco routing and switching knowledge; secure IT/OT integration experience.
• Experience with hybrid cloud networks in Azure or AWS and CI/CD-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide network strategy across corporate, cloud, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and sites.
• Set standards, governance, and lifecycle strategy for Fortinet Fabric and related platforms.
• Define secure integration patterns between Fortinet IT networks and Cisco OT environments.
• Govern reference architectures, topology standards, and implementation guidance.
• Lead critical network design decisions and communicate risks and investments to stakeholders.
• Own network roadmap and maturity model with measurable delivery standards.
• Drive platform decisions for SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA, and centralized management.
• Establish network observability and IPAM using NetBox and automation.
