Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Austin, TX to design, optimize, and scale secure network infrastructure, with a focus on Fortinet platforms and centralized management.

The role emphasizes establishing standard architectures, deployment methodologies, and collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to support enterprise deployments and future expansion.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing enterprise network environments.
• Hands-on FortiManager and Fortinet security solutions.
• Expertise in routing, switching, firewall management, and network security.
• Experience with VPN technologies, SD-WAN, and segmentation.
• Experience standardizing configurations and deployment processes across locations.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent documentation and architecture diagramming skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise network standardization initiatives utilizing Fortinet technologies.
• Administer and optimize FortiManager for centralized network and security management.
• Design and deploy secure network solutions using FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
• Develop architecture standards, implementation procedures, and technical documentation.
• Drive firewall policy management, segmentation strategies, and VPN deployments.
• Improve network resiliency, scalability, performance, and security posture.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support future deployment efforts by creating repeatable and scalable network designs.
