Job summary

Atrium is seeking an R&D Manager - Skincare for onsite leadership of development, optimization, and commercialization of innovative skincare formulations. You will guide bench work, manage technical teams, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced consumer products environment.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in skincare, strong formulation science expertise, and a track record of successful scale-up and manufacturing transfers—onsite with standard hours.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in skincare product development and innovation.
• Strong knowledge of skincare formulation science and ingredient technologies.
• Experience leading product commercialization and manufacturing transfers.
• Understanding of stability, compatibility, and efficacy substantiation.
• Familiarity with cosmetic regulations and raw material governance.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional development teams.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of innovative skincare formulations focused on performance and trends.
• Guide bench development and direct formulation optimization activities.
• Evaluate new ingredient technologies and formulation approaches.
• Support commercialization with pilot batches and transfers.
• Collaborate with Packaging, Quality, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Operations, and Product Management.
• Ensure stability, compatibility, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Partner with Project Management to meet timelines and milestones.
• Mentor formulation scientists and technical staff.
