Job summary

Frida is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer, Formulated, to join our Packaging Engineering team and support the product development pipeline and broader packaging initiatives. This role emphasizes aesthetics, performance, and manufacturability with an eye for design and creativity.

The selected candidate will lead formulated packaging work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop packaging solutions for retail and e-commerce while advancing Frida's premium brand experience.

Qualifications

• Senior Packaging Engineer capable of leading formulated packaging work on cross-functional teams.
• Experience with packaging testing, primary/secondary/tertiary packaging, and NPD pipelines.
• Ability to translate design ideas into manufacturing-ready specifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead for formulated packaging development on cross-functional teams.
• Establish technical objectives, direct, plan and execute complex technical requests for global packaging requirements.
• Partner with formulation scientists on recommendations for packaging testing and equipment needs for launch.
• Ensure primary package functionality and specifications meet established performance criteria.
• Plan, coordinate and execute formulated product line trials and document outcomes, fill range, weight, testing, coding, and palletization.
