Senior Forming Operator - B Shift (7PM -7:30AM)

Description

SAFETY:

• 1) Understand and follow all safety procedures
  • a) Current on all safety trainings
  • b) Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
• 2) Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
• 3) Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
• 4) Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks .

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 1) Adjust sensor to ensure proper operation
• 2) Inspect wires, sheet end cutter for build-up, vacuum systems to track position to ensure proper function.
• 3) Clean pipes, conveyor belts, line rollers, forming pit, trenches and grates.
• 4) Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
• 5) Clean forming and press felt by using HCL and proper rinsing techniques
• 7) Pump out the water from the Pulpier and BC conveyor pits by using the gas diaphragm pump

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 1) Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs.
• 2) Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• 3) Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.
• 4) Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
