Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Level II Technician to perform maintenance on LP and electric forklifts. The role requires expertise in one of the two powertrains, along with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. You will work under a lead tech or manager and support Level 3 technicians.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tune-ups, part replacements, and basic electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting. Must be able to lift 75 lbs and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience troubleshooting electric or LP equipment.
• Experience in basic repairs of electric or LP equipment.
• Experience in attachment repairs.
• Basic electrical, LP, hydraulic knowledge.
• Reading wiring schematics.
• Must read and follow service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on LP and electric forklifts.
• Carry out tune-ups and adjust components as needed.
• Inspect and replace filters, fluids, and other wear parts.
• Inspect wheels, bearings, and battery health on a schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair steering and thermal issues as required.
• Maintain productivity and complete PM services as scheduled.
