Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. is seeking a Sr. Equipment Operator to support safe, efficient warehouse and distribution center operations.

You will operate gas- and electric-powered forklifts to move, load, unload, stack, and transport materials throughout the facility, ensuring accurate inventory and compliance with safety procedures. The role also includes equipment inspections, assisting with shipping and receiving, training newer team members, and identifying process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience operating forklifts in warehouse, distribution, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, stack, and transport materials.
• Load and unload materials from vehicles and move between warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized work areas.
• Perform safety inspections before operating equipment and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Support shipping, receiving, staging, and replenishment activities.
• Provide guidance or training to less experienced team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
• Resolve non-routine operational issues with independent judgment.
