Job summary

Crest Operations is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvements across Crest Natural Resources and related entities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with leadership and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity environments and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial close.
• Experience in multi-entity or corporate accounting environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas) and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Assist with the budgeting process and revenue reconciliation.
• Support external audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Maintain documentation to support internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
