Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or forensic science.
• Successful completion of 24 college-level chemistry credits (required).
• A Master’s degree is desirable.
• Experience interpreting and applying rules, laws, policies and procedures.
• Ability to write and oversee grants.
• A valid Nevada driver’s license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, develop, supervise and lead the operation of the Forensic Laboratory Toxicology Detail.
• Perform management/analytical work and audit/oversee programs.
• Supervise staff and report to the Director of Laboratory Services.
