The Denver Police Department Crime Lab is seeking a Criminalist II for a seniority-based night shift in downtown Denver. The role involves identifying, collecting, preserving, and packaging evidence, and supporting scene investigations with advanced techniques.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of Criminalist I experience, with weekend/holiday/on-call availability. A polygraph, drug test, medical evaluation, and background check are required as conditions of employment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three (3) years of experience at the Criminalist I level.
• License and certification requirements must be kept current.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, collect, preserve, and package biological and other evidence per SOPs.
• Support crime scene investigations with advanced techniques and training.
• Document crime scenes using forensic methods and report findings.
• Provide courtroom testimony and maintain chain of custody.
