Job summary

Central State Hospital is recruiting a Psychology Supervisor to lead a dynamic team and advance recovery‑oriented, person‑centered, and trauma‑informed care in a forensic setting.

The role provides clinical supervision to psychology staff while delivering high‑quality services, assessments, psychosocial rehabilitation, and behavioral interventions, with emphasis on collaboration and evidence‑based practice.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or eligibility for licensure within six months of hire.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience providing individual and group clinical interventions, as well as conducting psychological and forensic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to psychology staff and ensure high-quality psychological services.
• Deliver assessments, psychosocial rehabilitation, and behavioral interventions in a forensic setting.
• Present and testify effectively in court when required and support staff development.
