452 MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERV. in Vinita, OK, seeks an Assistant Director of Forensic Psychology to lead statewide forensic mental health initiatives within the ODMHSAS system.

This full-time, in-person role combines clinical leadership with policy influence in the justice system. You bring a Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (APA-accredited), internship, and at least 4 years post‑doc specialized experience in forensic settings, plus 2 years of licensure to supervise

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (APA-accredited).
• Completion of a 1-year pre-doctoral internship, including direct supervision from a licensed psychologist.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-doctoral specialized training in forensic evaluations and/or treatment.
• At least 2 years of licensure as a psychologist.
• Demonstrated experience in forensic evaluations and expert testimony.

Responsibilities

• Direct reports to facility medical director
• Supervise a minimum of 5 psychologist direct reports
• Supervise therapeutic team leads (2): NGRI and Restoration
• These leads oversee Psychoeducation groups
• Recreation functions
• Restoration programming/education
• Patient therapy and case management needs
• Work directly with NGRI and Restoration program directors
• Oversees inpatient observation and evaluation processes
• Oversees court ordered in person competency evaluations
• Oversees and manages completion and timeliness per facility policy for all risk assessments

Education

Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (APA‑accredited)

Completion of a 1-year pre‑doctoral internship, including direct supervision from a licensed psychologist specializing in clinical or counseling psychology

Minimum of4 years of post‑doctoralspecialized training in the evaluation and/or treatment of forensic clients

At least 2 years of licensure as a psychologist

Demonstrated experience in forensic evaluations and expert testimony
