Job summary

Ya-Group is seeking a Senior Forensic Mechanical Engineer to evaluate distress in MEP systems and oversee investigative projects. You will coordinate with clients, perform site visits, manage resources, and deliver comprehensive reports with root-cause analyses and repair recommendations.

The role requires an established client network, strong rapport-building, and the ability to drive regional growth through recruiting and business development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Active PE license.
  • 10+ years of forensic mechanical engineering experience or relevant design experience.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive technical reports on inspection results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

The Role:

Senior Forensic Mechanical Engineers evaluate distress to existing MEP systems, machinery, and/or equipment. This role oversees all aspects of investigative projects including coordinating with clients, performing site visits, managing resources, writing reports, conducting root cause analyses, reviewing building codes, and setting deadlines to ensure project deliverables are submitted in a professional and timely manner.


The ideal candidate has an established client network and has a strong track record of building rapport and maintaining lasting client relationships.


In This Role, You Will:

$140,000 - 275,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
