YA Group is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Forensic Engineer to lead investigations of distress in existing buildings, coordinate site visits, data collection, testing, and reporting to determine root causes and recommend repairs. The ideal candidate will hold an active PE license with 10+ years of forensic engineering experience, and a proven ability to deliver comprehensive technical reports while maintaining strong client relationships.
Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.
Senior Civil/Structural Forensic Engineers evaluate distress to existing buildings, structures, and building envelopes. This role oversees all aspects of investigative projects, including coordinating with clients, performing site visits, managing resources, writing reports, conducting analyses, reviewing building codes, and setting deadlines to ensure project deliverables are submitted in a professional and timely manner.
The ideal candidate has an established client network and has a strong track record of building rapport and maintaining lasting client relationships.

$140,000 - 275,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
*This wide salary range reflects the flexibility of the role and accommodates candidates across a broad range of experience levels; base salary and bonus will be commensurate with experience.
