Job summary

Guild Education in Denver seeks a Lead Forecast Modeling Analyst to scale our Forecasting and Financial Analytics team. You will own and improve our forecasting model within a modular system, partnering with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Technology to drive performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in analytics or forecasting, strong SQL, Python or R, and experience with Databricks, MLflow, and Looker/Tableau.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, data science, forecasting, or financial planning & analysis.
• Strong experience with SQL and transforming large datasets into reusable formats.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R with time-series and ML forecasting knowledge.
• Experience operationalizing models (backtesting, validation, monitoring, drift detection, retraining).
• Experience with Databricks and experiment tracking (MLflow).
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, Omni, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve usage-based forecasting models for clients' education benefit.
• Raise forecast accuracy and shorten monthly refresh cycles with backtesting frameworks.
• Translate modeling logic into well-structured, tested code.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve data, systems, and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous learning.
• Produce insights and recommendations for stakeholders on forecast drivers.
