Job summary

Cavender Auto Family in Texas is seeking a Senior Ford Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford vehicles while delivering an exceptional dealership experience.

The ideal candidate has Ford diagnostics experience, at least 3 years as a Ford technician, and ASE certifications preferred; you will work with a collaborative team, follow manufacturer standards, and contribute to long-term success with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Ford Technician.
• Strong automotive mechanical and diagnostic background.
• Manufacturer ASE Certifications preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check, MVR, and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, A/C, and more.
• Test-drive vehicles and validate repairs.
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors.
• Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety compliant.
• Support additional duties assigned by management.
