Job summary

LMI seeks a Senior Force Management Operations Lead to design and execute a Joint-wide workforce strategy for AI, autonomy, cyber, digital, and acquisition talent. The lead runs sourcing actions, manages the nomination pipeline, and builds data-driven workforce models aligned to operational demand.

The role requires on-site support in Tampa, TS/SCI clearance, and travel to supported commands. LMI specializes in delivering mission-ready AI and digital solutions to federal agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, workforce analytics, business administration, public administration, operations research, management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years in force management, manpower, personnel operations, workforce planning, talent management, or related DoD function.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience supporting Joint/Service/Combatant command or SOF manpower processes.
• Experience developing workforce requirements, skill inventories, staffing models, sourcing strategies, and senior leader recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of an integrated workforce strategy for AI, autonomy, cyber, digital engineering, and acquisition.
• Translate mission requirements into manpower demand, skill requirements, and workforce readiness measures.
• Coordinate sourcing and nomination actions across services, commands, Joint organizations, and agencies.
• Manage end-to-end nomination pipeline: identification, screening, coordination, onboarding, integration tracking.
• Establish non-traditional talent pathways (Intergovernmental Personnel Act, industry exchanges, fellowships).
• Maintain authoritative inventory of talent, skills, gaps, vacancies, succession requirements.
• Develop workforce models and dashboards aligning capacity to demand.
