Job summary

Under Armour, a leading global sportswear brand, seeks a Senior Footwear Designer to shape a growing footwear identity across lifestyle and performance lines. You will guide concept development, translate sport into culture, and drive the design language from concept through production.

You will influence brand identity, work with developers and factories, and contribute to innovative, market-ready products while maintaining a strong merchandising narrative.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of footwear design experience.
• Strong footwear portfolio demonstrating original thinking.
• Understanding of sportswear, fashion and culture with US consumer awareness.
• Knowledge of footwear construction, patterns, moulds, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with developers, sample rooms and factories.

Responsibilities

• Be a key partner in creating brand identity and distinctive UA footwear offerings with a creative design vision.
• Design and present concepts for footwear and overall design direction: material, trim, color.
• Develop and execute detailed technical packages for development.
• Ensure category meets price point, merchandising story, and development timelines.
• Express ideas via sketches, marker rendering, computer illustrations, etc.
• Provide product conceptualization and alternatives based on product briefs.
• Drive short and long-term design vision for the category.
