Job summary

SodexoMagic at the University of Houston Downtown is seeking a Senior Food Supervisor to oversee daily food operations across fast casual, coffee counters, cafeterias and events. You will coordinate routine work activities with on-site management and ensure high standards of service and safety.

In this role you will lead front-line staff, provide ongoing training, and work with clients to resolve issues while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Help ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Food Supervisor at SodexoMagic, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• 2 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.li>
