Job summary

Boars Head Brand is seeking a QA professional to supervise and support the development and rollout of TraceGains and other QMSs. The role ensures accurate data, provides analytical reports, and offers advanced support to QMS users across R&D, procurement, engineering, QA, and manufacturing.

You will assist the BH Audit Team with food safety and product quality audits at venues including Food Service Operations, Retail Store Operations, Manufacturing, and Distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related discipline with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience auditing USDA & FDA environments; knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, GFSI.
• Diverse background in cheese production, meat production, emulsion technology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced super user support to functional groups on QMS related issues.
• Provide technical support to Family Foods team and suppliers on Tracegains documents.
• Create customized views, generate analytical reports, maintain documentation/data, and provide basic programming support for Tracegains.
• Assist QA with maintenance of SQF, HACCP, and other quality or food safety programs.
• Organize and audit co-manufacturers QA documents for Boars Head expectations and compliance.
• Perform Food Safety & Product Quality audits at various venues including Food Service, Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments, develop corrective actions, and monitor preventive measures.
