Job summary

IK Hofmann is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This hands-on role emphasizes troubleshooting, safety, and steady equipment uptime.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read electrical schematics, and work with VFDs/PLCs, conveyors, and packaging machines. The position requires five years in regulated manufacturing and strong tool discipline.

Qualifications

Five+ years of maintenance experience in food or regulated manufacturing.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience reading electrical schematics and working with VFDs/PLCs and packaging equipment.
Safe use of hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
Strong communication and ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot conveyors, packaging equipment, check-weighers, and related production machinery.
Test and repair electrical equipment and interpret control schematics.
Perform minor programming and troubleshooting of VFDs and PLCs.
Dismantle/reassemble equipment for maintenance and cleaning as needed.
Follow safety procedures and communicate with teams.
