Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Food Labeling to lead and scale the enterprise labeling program.

You will act as the company’s senior authority on North American labeling regulations, driving governance, system optimization, and cross-functional partnership across Regulatory, R&D, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams. The role requires building and mentoring a labeling organization, translating complex rules into practical solutions, and ensuring compliant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, Biological Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in food labeling compliance across FDA/FSIS; Canada/Mexico experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the corporate food labeling strategy, scalable to evolving business needs.
• Serve as the senior authority on North American labeling regulations (FDA, FSIS, CFIA).
• Design, implement, and improve labeling policies, workflows, and governance.
• Lead creation and maintenance of the enterprise labeling database.
• Oversee technical validation of labeling content: ingredients, allergens, nutrition facts, claims, and case labeling.
• Build and develop labeling team with clear roles and coaching plans.
• Provide regulatory judgment for complex labeling decisions.
• Partner with Regulatory, R&D, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Communicate labeling requirements to ensure timely compliance.
• Define and monitor KPIs for labeling compliance and program effectiveness.
• Support audits and respond to regulatory inquiries related to labeling.
• Lead change management to rebuild trust in labeling processes.
• Elevate labeling knowledge across teams via training and guidance.
