Job summary

OWS Foods seeks a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Specialist to manage all regulatory compliance across products, labeling, and documentation. You will validate nutrition panels, ensure labeling accuracy, and coordinate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and QA to support compliant product changes.

Ideal candidates will hold a PCQI certification, have strong regulatory knowledge, and be skilled in using Genesis ESHA and Plex ERP systems. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Regulatory, Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Certified PCQI
• Experience with 3rd party standards and certifications in the food industry.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, organization, and team-oriented skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead group discussions.
• Flexibility to travel on an infrequent basis.
• Ability to research food regulations and interpret and apply them to daily job role.
• Ability to quickly learn company capabilities.
• Detailed oriented.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to proficiently deal directly with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains regulatory processes for documents and labeling.
• Validates product labeling and compliance under US and international laws.
• Maintains ingredient statements and nutritional panels.
• Manages and updates Plex ERP related formula data.
• Supports on-site audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Provides regulatory guidance per FDA/USDA compliance.
• Completes customer regulatory requests promptly.
