Job summary

Walmart Plainfield, IN is seeking a Senior Technician in Facility Services for food equipment. The role requires diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and training Store Associates on care and cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR; able to pass MVR.
• Trade certification and 5 years in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area, or 7 years in these trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Utilize work order system to manage reactive repairs and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and operating trainings.
