Job summary

Walmart in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment to maintain and repair commercial food equipment across stores.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, train store staff, and document work orders. The ideal candidate has plumbing/electrical/carpentry skills, a high school diploma, 5+ years of trades experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with clean MVR.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, MHE, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades.
• 1 year of experience with basic office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Can lift up to 75 lbs and move up and down ladders frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across multiple crafts using hand and power tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document reactive repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
