Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus one year professional experience in planning, coordinating and administering a food distribution program, including acquisition and inventory.
• High school diploma with three years of experience including duties described above or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise program documentation (State Plans of Operation, USDA Foods Manual) and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Order USDA food products for programs; submit monthly orders and reconcile invoices.
• Manage USDA food inventory; ensure FIFO and notify sponsors of delays or recalls.
• Provide training and technical assistance to sponsors and vendors via memos, emails, calls, webinars, and sessions.
