On-site at a federal facility in Albuquerque, NM with limited telework; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance and meet federal suitability requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least two years of professional FOIA experience or five years total FOIA experience.
• Experience using FOIAXpress or similar case-management system.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process FOIA/Privacy Act requests from intake through final response and closeout.
• Review requests for scope, sufficiency, and processing actions.
• Communicate with requesters to clarify or narrow requests.
• Coordinate searches for responsive records with program offices and custodians.
• Apply FOIA exemptions and Privacy Act provisions as required.
