Job summary

NAOVI (Novel Applications, Inc.) seeks a Journeyman FOIA Analyst to support government information requests under FOIA, Privacy Act and EO 13526. This 100% onsite role requires an active TS/SCI with CI poly and US citizenship, with no sponsorship for clearance.

Responsibilities include handling complex cases, coordinating with IC components, ensuring accurate case documentation, and timely final letters. Candidates should have BS/BA + 5 years FOIA experience or 9+ years without a degree, and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required.
• Candidates without clearance will not be considered.
• No sponsorship for clearances.
• BS/BA + 5 years FOIA experience or 9+ years FOIA experience with no degree.
• Experience supporting FOIA, PA, MDR, and ADR case processing.
• Strong ability to review sensitive records and ensure compliance.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to FOIA/PA/EO requests for review and release of agency information.
• Handle complex FOIA cases, including litigation and appeals.
• Conduct MDR and ADR per EO 13526.
• Coordinate taskings and document collection across IC components.
• Validate search adequacy and document proper case actions.
• Monitor case progress and meet deadlines with stakeholders.
• Submit final response letters within three business days of approval.
• Track and update case statuses using agency tools.
• Provide inputs to annual compliance reports.
• Ensure information cleared for public release is accessible.
