• Demonstrated ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex industrial equipment.
• Owns equipment reliability and safe operation; proactively prevents downtime.
• Proven problem-solving ability under time pressure.
• Able to learn new processes and control systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, reliable operation of pilot line foam extrusion equipment.
• Own day-to-day equipment health including inspection, maintenance, and repair.
• Diagnose equipment/process issues during trials and minimize downtime and sample loss.
• Collaborate with formulators to translate experimental requirements into robust, repeatable operating conditions.
• Execute foam extrusion trials with the twin-screw extruder and related systems.
• Maintain records of operating conditions, equipment performance, issues, and corrective actions.
• Manage pilot line materials, inventory, and logistics, including safe handling, shipping, and receiving.
• Model strong safety ownership by following procedures and reinforcing safe work practices.
