Job summary

ACE Consulting Group seeks a Foreign Military Sales Senior Engineer to implement cradle-to-grave Systems Engineering for naval aviation FMS cases. You will ensure rigor, develop LOAs, test plans, and program documentation while coordinating with PMs, APME, and SMEs.

The role requires active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and the ability to travel 1–2 times a month. A MS/MA in engineering or related field is preferred, with extensive SE experience in FMS environments.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with foreign customers.
• Development of SE artifacts including LOAs and SE process requirements.
• Plan, execute flight tests and evaluate results.
• Coordinate with SMEs across NAVAIR/NAVSEA domains.
• Lead FMS risk management activities and trade studies.
• Manage safety hazards and risk resolutions.
• Plan system integration and interface management.
• Perform configuration management (ECPs, RFVs, CRs).
• Develop obsolescence solutions for fielded systems.
• Handle LOAs, SOWs, and CDRLs in program documentation.
• Oversee production QA and disposition of withhold/discrepancies.
• Assist budget planning and program financials.
• Support FMS Case Development and new business.

Responsibilities

• Support the FMS Program Manager and APME to ensure SE rigor and quality requirements.
• Develop and deliver documentation for each country to meet airworthiness objectives.
• Plan and perform flight test activities and coordination.
• Lead SE process management, requirements trade space, and SETR events.
• Lead risk management efforts and safety hazard communications.
• Plan system integration and interface management activities.
• Manage configuration control (ECPs, RFVs, CRs).
• Provide obsolescence solutions and support for LOAs/SOWs/CDRLs.
• Assist in budget planning and FMS case development; provide new business support.
• Travel approximately 1–2 times per month (CONUS/OCONUS).
