Job summary

ACE Consulting Group seeks a Senior Engineer to lead cradle-to-grave systems engineering for FMS cases supporting naval platforms. You will ensure rigorous SE processes, develop LOAs and technical requirements, and coordinate with program management and APME to advance testing and sustainment.

The role requires extensive SE experience in Naval Aviation contexts, active Secret clearance, and the ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Minimum 10 years of recent and relevant experience, 3 in Naval Aviation SE functions, including milestones and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Engage foreign customers and coordinate with NAVAIR/NAVSEA domains.
• Develop SE artifacts (LOA tech & SE process requirements, funding requirements, technical requirement specs).
• Plan, execute flight tests and assess results.
• Lead and coordinate subject matter experts across domains.
• Develop capability upgrades for retrofit and production cut-ins.
• Oversee SE process management from requirements to trade space and SETR events.
• Lead FMS risk management efforts and safety resolutions.
• Plan system integration and interface management; perform configuration management (ECPs, RFVs, CRs).
• Lead obsolescence solutions and LOA/SOW/CDRL related acquisition work.
• Support production QA and disposition of withhold tags and discrepancies.
• Assist in budget planning and management.
• Support FMS Case Development and New Business.
