Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. seeks an FMS Combat Systems Engineer to support our customer in Washington, DC. The Senior Engineer will assist in developing executable combat system configurations for international engagement opportunities and support the Aegis and Non-Aegis programs.

The role requires a Secret security clearance, US citizenship, and extensive Navy AEGIS experience, plus prior FMS work and strong knowledge of international policies. Hybrid work may be available with travel as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Allowable substitution: HS diploma or GED with 10 years engineering experience; or bachelor's degree with 5 years; or master's degree.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering, analyst, and/or project management support for Navy combat systems.
• United States Navy AEGIS experience.
• Prior FMS experience and strong understanding of FMS international policies and processes.
• Must hold and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality program management and systems engineering support to US DOD international assistance and cooperative development programs with a strong background in FMS Aegis Navy programs.
• Support design, implementation, and execution of all phases of international programs from concept development through lifetime support.
• Manage multiple FMS portfolio/programs with technical and programmatic support for complex weapons systems architectures.
• Manage multiple programs independently as required by the government FMS program manager.
