Job summary

AssetWatch is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead Flutter/Dart development across iOS and Android. You will stay hands-on, drive mobile architecture, and work with backend teams on REST/GraphQL contracts to deliver reliable, offline-capable experiences for field technicians and customer teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Flutter/Dart and full-stack focus.
• Strong architecture and design skills, hands-on with code.
• Experience consuming REST and GraphQL APIs and discussing backend design.
• Product engineering mindset: prototype quickly with product/design and deliver.
• Experience directing agentic coding tools and workflows; ownership of technical decisions.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning with observability tools (Sentry, Datadog).
• Excellent communication; track record mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship high-quality Flutter apps for iOS and Android.
• Help shape mobile architecture and enforce patterns and standards.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on REST/GraphQL APIs and contracts.
• Prototype ideas with product/design; convert proofs-of-concept into durable features.
• Direct AI-assisted development using Claude Code, skills, MCP integrations.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor other engineers; troubleshoot issues end-to-end.
• Support customers and field technicians by tracing problems with Sentry/Datadog.
