Job summary

Xcimer Energy, headquartered in Denver, CO, seeks a Fluids, Vacuum, and Cryogenic Operations Lead for our world-class superlasers. You will own the operation of fluids, vacuum, and cryogenic systems, develop experiment schedules, and lead engineers and technicians to ensure systems function for tests.

You will troubleshoot anomalies, define maintenance requirements, and drive safe, on-time execution. A BS in engineering and 5+ years in technical operations are required; advanced laser

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) required.
• 5+ years in technical operations, maintenance, and tests of fluids, vacuum, and cryogenic systems.
• Experience leading teams to operate complex, high-risk systems.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or eligible status required.
• Willing to work set 8-hour shifts and overtime during critical times.
• Advanced degree in laser engineering or photonics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own operations of fluids, vacuum, and cryogenic systems for tests.
• Develop and maintain operations schedules for experiments, maintenance, upgrades.
• Lead engineers and technicians to complete work safely and on time.
• Lead post-experiment data reviews to verify system function.
• Troubleshoot anomalies in fluids, vacuum, and cryogenic systems.
• Develop operating limits and maintenance procedures.
