Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Manager Fluids Systems Engineering in Washington state. You will lead a small team of engineers responsible for design and integration of complex ground fluids systems, from initial requirements through testing and commissioning, including field support at times.

You will collaborate across functions, own dependencies, and drive schedules to meet program goals. Some travel to field sites may be required as part of development and operations support.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering; electrical or mechanical preferred.
• Ground fluids system architecture experience required.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and standards.
• 10+ years in related field; 5+ years mentoring.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Fluids Subsystem.
• Lead scope, priorities, and daily activities for a team of engineers.
• Collaborate with production to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Work with ground and maintenance teams to field equipment.
• Ensure operations align with design and requirements.
• Coordinate schedules with Project Manager and optimize plans.
