Job summary

HRU-Tech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer focusing on fluid power and mechanical systems. You will design, analyze, and support hydraulic and pneumatic solutions for heavy-duty vehicles and mobile equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.

The role requires hands-on CAD work, system sizing, component selection, and reliable documentation. Remote work is possible after onboarding, with up to 25% travel and initial onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid power systems.
• Experience using a professional 3D CAD platform (Creo or CATIA preferred).
• Ability to independently manage engineering assignments with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related systems for heavy-duty vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Support design, integration, and modification of components and systems for new and existing platforms.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and analysis per standards.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and feasibility.
• Prepare engineering layouts, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers; provide timely technical support.
