Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for Floorcare at its Needham, MA headquarters. You will drive front-end technology, feasibility studies, and concept development for the next generation of vacuum and floorcare products.

You’ll work with global teams to translate engineering ideas into credible, exciting products while mentoring junior engineers and balancing multiple projects on fast-paced schedules.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with electromechanical products in product development.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or Creo.
• Ability to build prototypes and run product testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the Floorcare roadmap's front-end technology and feasibility phase.
• Lead front-end product and engineering development with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and test proof-of-concept rigs and prototypes.
• Communicate ideas through sketches, CAD layouts, 3D models and working prototypes.
• Collaborate with AD & CI teams to align front-end design with market needs.
• Coach junior teammates and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
