Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a catastrophe modeling professional to contribute to the Nat Cat Center of Excellence in the Metro Atlanta area. You will develop and validate internal catastrophe models for flood and other perils, share expertise across Tokio Marine Group, and support risk analytics, ERM, and capital modeling efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant catastrophe modeling experience
• Progressive experience in catastrophe modeling (flood, earthquake, etc.)
• Strong programming and data analysis skills (Python, GIS, Excel, SQL, AI/ML)
• Solid understanding of P&C (re)insurance and risk management use cases
• Demonstrated ability to communicate results clearly to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support Nat Cat Center of Excellence sharing catastrophe modeling expertise and research
• Develop internal catastrophe models and support solution development
• Validate models with benchmarks for hazard, vulnerability and loss components
• Assist ERM in defining capital modeling assumptions and risk analytics
