Tokio Marine HCC International in Duluth, GA seeks a Lead Catastrophe Risk Analyst to drive catastrophe risk modeling, data workflows, and stakeholder communications across TMHCC and TM Group. You will apply advanced analytics and mentor junior analysts in best practices for exposure assessment.

Responsibilities include leading analyses with RMS/AIR catastrophe models, validating data quality, and developing solutions that quantify catastrophe risk for decision makers, with a focus on exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applied science/engineering, actuarial, economics, math, or related subjects.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Catastrophe Modeling and Analytics.
• Advanced analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, GIS, and programming (R/Python preferred).

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert and lead execution of catastrophe risk analytics.
• Lead established risk analytics functions and mentor junior staff.
• Conduct analyses of property insurance exposure using cat models.
• Assess data quality and prepare large exposure databases for catastrophe modeling (RMS, AIR).
• Analyze loss estimates and present results via reports and presentations.
• Provide analytic support for climate change impact assessment and model validation.
• Support enterprise exposure management, event response, and related functions.
• Develop and maintain inventories of vendor catastrophe models and data sources.
• Lead analytical research and solution development for stakeholder use in TM group.
