Job summary

Memorial Hermann Outpatient Imaging is actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic full-time, day shift float Mammographer to support our North Region Breast Centers in Houston, Cypress, The Woodlands, Kingwood and Northeast. The Senior Mammography Technologist will serve as preceptor and mentor while floating to multiple outpatient imaging centers.

The ideal candidate has four years of Mammography experience, ARRT-M and ARRT-R credentials, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and mammography program.
• Current MRT license and ARRT(M) registration required.
• ARTR(R) certification and ability to perform QC and stereotactic exams.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammo exams ensuring radiation safety and image quality.
• Float to multiple outpatient imaging centers as needed.
• Mentor staff and act as preceptor to less experienced technologists.
• Schedule technologists to match patient volume and coverage.
• Maintain equipment safety and participate in QA activities.
• Assist with accreditation applications and regulatory compliance.
• Provide compassionate, personalized patient care and education.
