Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Las Vegas seeks a Ground System Engineer (GSE) Level 4 for the Skunk Works team. You will act as a system expert, perform real-time troubleshooting, and lead readiness testing for complex hardware/software systems, including DoD interfaces.

The role requires security clearance, DoD IAT II certs, a technical degree, and 3–5 years of IT infra experience with Windows/Linux and virtualization. Travel and rotating shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Security clearance required: Top Secret with special program access.
• DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3–5 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience with Windows/Linux, virtualization, and directory services.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Willing to travel and support rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform system administration including software installs and upgrades.
• Handle real-time troubleshooting of complex hardware/software anomalies.
• Execute readiness tests to verify system under test functionality.
• Contribute to system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Support DoD customers in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
