Job summary

Credence is recruiting a Senior Software and Hardware Test Support to back the AFLCMC/WAM F-16 division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role supports test documentation, resource scheduling, and coordination across DoD test ranges and contractors.

Responsibilities include preparing airworthiness documentation, coordinating DT&E/OT&E activities, and ensuring test plans align with requirements. A TS clearance and DoD experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret clearance.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field with at least 10 years of related experience, five of which must be in DoD performance.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of related experience, five in DoD.
• Fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight of which must be in the DoD.
• Minimum of three years of experience planning or conducting military flight test programs.
• Expertise in planning, directing, and integrating all aspects of the test and evaluation functions for aeronautical weapons systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of test documentation such as test releases and airworthiness memorandums and coordinate test resource scheduling for fighter weapons systems integration test infrastructure, DT&E and OT&E test aircraft instrumentation.
• Assist with collecting required documentation from vendors (software release, safety of flight memos, operating limitations, etc.) and coordinate approvals.
• Create and interpret Air Force Form 1067 and Temporary 2 modification documentation to support ground and flight testing.
• Provide technical assistance to develop and coordinate test requirements between prime contractor, IPT, AFTC, and other test agencies, including FAA certifications.
• Support program management, test management and systems engineering for fighter weapons systems OFP software development, test and fielding.
• Develop TEMPs, master test plans, and review weapons system DT&E and OT&E test plans and reports.
• Support government flight test deficiency reporting systems for verification of hazard severity and recommendations for guidance.
